| 13. VOLUNTARY WORK |
El Sol provides you the opportunity to work as a volunteer in different fields. You can learn about your host culture by working with and for people/organizations with different abilities and needs.
This is an invaluable experience that helps participants develop skills such as teamwork, leadership and organization, while helping philanthropic institutions and NGOs.
General Requirements:
- 2 weeks of the Intensive course at El Sol prior to the volunteer program or 4 weeks in the afternoon Semi Intensive Plus while participating in it.
- A minimum of a Pre Intermediate Spanish language level
- A minimum commitment of 2 weeks volunteering
- Be highly motivated to work also independently.
- Must have medical insurance

| 14. INTERNSHIP IN PERU |
This program is geared towards university students that want to gain work experience in fields related to their studies. The internship program at El Sol is an excellent way to improve your Spanish language skills in the context of the workplace. Participants develop new social and professional networks, teamwork skills and a deeper knowledge of the Latin American work system.
General requirements:
- 2 weeks of the Intensive course at El Sol prior to the Internship program, or 4 weeks in the afternoon Semi Intensive Plus while participating in it.
- A minimum of a Pre Intermediate Spanish language level (in many cases a higher level is required)
- Must have medical insurance
