TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.- The minimum number of participants to open a group class is two. El Sol will suspend weekly module classes when there are fewer than two students enrolled. If during your study period we cannot open a weekly module class because of this reason, you will have three choices: a) Exchange that week for three days of private classes at a specially discounted price in order to continue the program, b) Postpone your course until a group class initiates, or c) Receive reimbursement of 100% of fees paid for the remaining period.

2.- To confirm your private class, full payment of the reserved class must be made at least one business day before your start date.

3.- Absences are not subject to reimbursement or recuperation under any circumstance.

4.- To cancel a private class advise the school of your absence with at least one business day notice to REGISTROS by writing: elsol_registrar@idiomasperu.com, or 242-6936, otherwise you will be billed for the class.

5.- In case of reimbursement for student withdrawal, the school will refund your tuition fees in accordance to the regular fee schedule for the weeks or private hours already taken and will apply a penalty of US$60 to cover administrative expenses. If your payment was made with a credit card, there will be an additional charge of 6% of the value of the reimbursement. There is no reimbursement for courses or programs for which certificates have been issued.

6.- Faculty and staff / student relations.- As representatives of El Sol, teachers and staff will always maintain professional relationships with students, avoiding all personal and commercial links. Students will refrain from suggesting activities to their teacher that are unrelated to their classes without the approval of the Academic Director.

LIABILITY

The student will not hold “El Sol” or “Asociación Cultural Idiomas Perú”, or its staff, owners, promoters, associates or partners, liable for any loss, illness or injury that the student may experience either at the school or during school excursions, or any other activity organized or recommended by teachers or staff employed by “Asociación Cultural Idiomas Perú”.

“El Sol” accepts students for study with the understanding that they have contracted adequate medical insurance to cover them during their stay in Peru. If you do not have insurance, you can obtain it at the school.
